With the development of Internet of things technology, in a monitoring area with a large number of 6LoWPAN sensor nodes, it is an effective way to realize the Internet technology by using a powerful border router to link the sensor nodes into the IPv6 betwork and to make them communicate with IP networks. Since the technology of 6LoWPAN proposed so far, there have already made many achievements in several areas such as the header compression, restructuring, routing and security. The integration between the wireless sensor network(WSN) and IPv6 network has become one of the key technical problems need to be solved in the field of computer network and communication. Low power wireless area network based on IPv6(6LoWPAN) has great application value and development potential.This thesis systematically compresensively describes the characteristics of IPv6, 6LoWPAN and IEEE 802.15.4 standards and illustrates the key technology of interconnection of heterogeneous nodes and analyzes the principle of 6LoWPAN in detail in address allocation, header aompression, restructuring and other related technologies. And in this thesis, the overall framework based on WSN-IPv6 heterogeneous network convergence communication system of 6LoWPAN is designed.The convergence communication between 6LoWPAN with IPv6 is achieved in the laboratory environment through IPv6 protocol was applied to WSN. This thesis mainly does the following research work:(1) Design a system scheme based on heterogeneous network convergence communication of WSN-IPv6 of 6LoWPAN. The IPv6 technology, wireless communication standard, 6LoWPAN, Contiki operating system are analyzed and studied. For the split slice recombination scheme, the scheme of the ARQ slice recombination and the end to end slice recombination are analyzed, and the adaptive slicing scheme of the two schemes is studied. In the header compression method, HC1 and HC2 header compression, IPHC and NHC header compression algorithm in the frame format and the compression process were researched.(2) An implementation scheme based on 6LoWPAN in WSN is designed. The realization of 6LoWPAN related functions is studied in depth combined with the open source 6LoWPAN implementation scheme. Through the research of the existing 6LoWPAN network protocol stack ideas and implementation scheme, I determine the 6LoWPAN protocol stack implementation scheme based on Contiki. And the scheme is to achieve the mutual communication of nodes in the 6LoWPAN and is to verify the feasibility that the IPv6 protocol is applied to WSN.(3) The test environment based on "CC2530+CC2592" wireless module is constructed. Interconnected communication of each node in the 6LoWPAN was experimentally studied. The implementation scheme of communication system is tested and optimized, and the goal of data exchange between WSN and IPv6 network is realized. Through the function test of client node, server node and router node, the test results show that the implementation scheme of 6LoWPAN in WSN is feasible.
