The wireless sensor network is composed of a lot low rate,low cost,low power comsuption,high denisity micro nodes.All these nodes are self-organized.So we can see that the sensor network change the way in which people can communicate with the nature,and it can extremely extend the ability of seeing the world.we can use the wireless sensor network to adapt the data,process and transfer for specific application.Therefore,we can see that the WSN can be used in the family,hospital,military,environment detection and the industry control, in this way it can meet all kinds of needs,and improve the efficience of work.Currently,the research of IPv6 is still in the first stage,so many companies take actively in the discussion,and let the standards be more maturely.so this paper is supported by the natural country basis project,does much research about the key technology. This paper first presents the background of current research state.then introduce some key technologies,including the embedded ipv6 protocol stack,adapter layer and the route protocol.Based on that,analyse deeply the usual head compression scheme,such as the IPv4 and IPv6 head compression shceme,and combines the IPv6 and the IEEE 802.25.4,bring out a suitable head compression idea which can be used in the 6LoWPAN.And in order to guarantee the packets whose header has already been compressed being forwarded to the destination,so the algorithm of routing the compression packets to the destination is very important.therefore,according to the procedure of the protocol processing the data,we can bring out the routing algorithm for the compression packets being forwarded to the destination.And then code it,and in the running environment,we debug it and run it,so that we can prove that this scheme is right.At last,this paper makes some conclusions about the work and looks forward to the development of the next work.
