It is the responsibility of the community and the special educators to pay attention to the education of the special groups.In recent years,some schools have offered "integrated materials",one course of the special education art design major,but the teaching material is transplanted from the general school education.And its teaching philosophy is to impart vocational skills mainly.The cultivation of artistic accomplishment and innovation ability for the students with hearing impairment is lacking.This paper attempts to improve the aesthetic ability and innovation ability of the students with hearing impairment through the studying the course of "integrated materials" in special education art design major to help them possess the theoretical accomplishment as well as the artistic expression.Also,it tries to help them to meet the needs of self-development and social life.This paper has a certain academic significance for how to promote the artistic expression of hearing impaired students,and it also has certain practical significance to improve the teaching methods and curriculum models of hearing impaired students.The introduction part of this paper analyzes the reason and significance of the topic,analyzes the present situation of the "comprehensive material" course's study of hearing impaired students special education in vocational colleges,explain the basic ideas,research methods,basic framework and innovativeness of this study.The second chapter introduces the design of the "comprehensive material" course of special education vocational colleges' art design specialty and the course conception,objective,role and position.As well as,teaching method for the hearing impaired students are studied.The third chapter studies "comprehensive material" curriculum practice from the discovering the materials,interpreting the materials,recreating and using materials,artistic fascination of materials.Chapter four is the flection for the course of "comprehensive material" of special education vocational colleges.Finally,the paper summarizes the whole research and makes development prospect for the major of the art and design for hearing impaired students special education in vocational colleges.It is hoped that this study will improve the importance of course in the major of art and design special education vocational colleges while improving the curriculum of " comprehensive materials".
