China is a multi-ethnic and multi-language country since the ancient times,and each minority of china growing their unique culture which is glorious and can not be replaced by the other culture during a long history period,and these traditional culture also enrich and promote the diversity of our Chinese culture,making our culture glowing tough vitality in a long history.The development of the minority traditional culture has a closely relationship with the development of the minority national language,because the minority national language reflecting the cogitation and lifestyle of the minority,representing the lively history of the minority,providing the basis for the minority identity,shouldering the mission of inheriting and developing the traditional culture of the minority.However,since the reform and open to the outside world,with the incessant development of the economy and technology,more and more modern civilization and technology flowing into the minority settlements,making the language environment gradually collapse,and quite a few traditional culture suffer a great shock.In order to make these traditional culture in the impact of modern science and technology can still glow with fresh vitality,Since the 1950s,our country has continuously carried out bilingual teaching in the minority settlements.Through the bilingual teaching,on one hand,it can protect and inherit the minorities' traditional culture,On the other hand can help minority students integrate into the mainstream of social life better.The history of the Bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarin in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture is not long and it's still on experimental stage,worth to be mentioned that the purpose of the Bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarin is to inherit and disseminate Tujia culture.Since the implementation of the bilingual teaching in Xiangxi in 2008,it has made some achievements but also has got some problems.This study takes Tujia language and mandarin bilingual teaching as the research object,takes the Krashen second language acquisition theory,the effective teaching theory and the theory of Pluralistic integration of Chinese nation as the theoretical basis,and uses case analysis,questionnaire method,interview method and classroom observation method and other research methods,along the way:status investigation-find the problem-Analysis of the reasons-give some relevant advice,to explore the problems and causes in current Tujia language-mandarin bilingual teaching process,and on this basis to give targeted suggestions and new ideas for the future development of the bilingual Tujia language-mandarin teaching in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture.It also makes a small contribution to the inheritance of Tujia and Tujia culture,as well as provide some case experience for the similar ethnic minorities to deal with similar problems,and this paper is also a enrichment for the the bilingual Tujia language-mandarin teaching literature which is really critical shortage of.This paper include 6 parts:The first part is the exordium:through the study on research purpose,significance.research ideas,research methods and present situation and defining related concept to elaborate the value and feasibility of this research.The second part is a introduction of three theory which this study based on:The Second Language Acquisition Theory.The Effective Teaching Theory,The Theory of Pluralistic Integration of Chinese nation.The third part through introduce the basic information of Tujia and Tujia language to reflect the significanc of Tujia language to Tujia,as well as elaborate the necessity and significanc of carry out the bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarin.this part also Introduce the history of the bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarin of Xiangxi autonomous prefecture.The forth part is the most importance of this paper:This part is the investigation of the bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarin of Xiangxi autonomous prefecture.taking a school of Dianfang town as simple,using questionnaire to inquiry the student' parents,teachers and students' truth attitude of bilingual teaching,obtaining the first material of the bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarin by go deep into the Tujia language class,investigating the predicament of the bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarin by interview principal and Tujia Language teacher,reveal the truth actuality of the bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarin.This part analyzed the factor that restrict the development of the bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarinf Xiangxi autonomous prefecture from policy,teachers,teaching material,course offering and Tujia language.The final part is suggest and concludion,this part offers some positive and viable solutions and suggestions based on the problem which analyzed in the forth part,and point out a new thinking of the bilingual teaching of Tujia language and mandarin.
