China is a unified multinational country, in the long historical process; every nationality has its special culture and customs. As one of the56ethnic groups, Tujia nationality has a rich and profound culture and language. We worry that tujia language has declined, which is a endangered language due to no form text and other factors. Based on this reality, the relative researches on tujia language have some values in protecting and inheriting tujia language, culture, as well as protecting diversity of Chinese culture.Through case study, from microscopic aspect, the point cut is bilingual teaching in a normal nine-year school, to show the tip of the iceberg of the present bilingual teaching. We hope that it will add some examples in this field, arouse other’s resonances and stimulate people’s desires of depth study, which is good for improving bilingual teaching of tujia language and mandarin. In the case study, through some methods such as questionnaire, depth interview and classroom observation, we focus on finding problems in bilingual teaching through data collection and analysis.The research method is case study in this paper; the text can be divided into four parts. The first part, is through the study on research background, purpose, significance, mentality, methods and present, as well as defining related concepts, show the feasibility and value of this paper; The second part, mainly is brief introduction of this experimental school, questionnaire analysis of the relevant persons, and interview on the school leaders and teacher; The third part, is analyzing the existing information and data, and concluding the problems; The fourth part, is providing some positive and feasible solutions and suggestions.
