| Education is the lifeblood of the country.Well equipped education leads to a prosperous country;poor equipped education leads to a poor country.Since ancient times,developing education is an important task of the country.Currently although the education of our country is flourishing,the teaching quality in rural schools is poor.Through investigation,the author finds that scoring zero points is a common phenomenon in many rural schools.Therefore,the paper is to explore the education problems of rural areas to improve the rural teaching quality.In rural areas,many schools exist the phenomenon of "zero points" children,due to the backward family education and the poor school education.The study finds that the rural students get zero points because they show no interest in learning or they can not make the most of their potential for being in poor health.There are three types of"zero points" children:First,type missing—exams.This kind of children are always absent from the exam,but normal.Second,type learning—disability.This kind of children are not interested in learning or not working hard,but they are intelligent.Third,type mental—retardation.This kind of children have an intelligent disability and a low level of learning ability.All of the "zero children" share common features:no ideals and guidance,lacking of initiative,family love,and school management.There are many reasons for that.On the one hand,lacking family education.Many parents of the "zero points" child work outside all the year,and they show little concern for their kids.On the other hand,our rural schools management is deficient.Most of schools treat the under-performing students unreasonably.In addition,lacking self-education.Our students have no initiative,ideals or clear goals about their own future.Finally,our social education is deficient.The society shows little concern and care for rural students.To address the problem,the country,society,school,family and students should work together to promote the development of "zero points" children.First,the government should play an active part in the education progress to improve the rural education quality.Second,the family should change mind to promote the development of "zero points" children.Third,schools should respect "zero points" children and cultivate their interest in learning.Forth,the society should enrich the philanthropic spirit and create a good learning environment.Finally,children themselves should make efforts to make progress.Rural "zero points" child is the product of modern education.We should recognize that getting zero points in exams doesn’t mean students are ineffectual.The problem will be addressed as long as the country,society,school,family and students work together.The author thinks it is necessary and exigent to improve the rural education quality.Education leads to economic growth,social and political stability,and improved social services.The community should promote the education development to make a better countryside. |
