The redundant labor force in rural areas flock into cities in large scale during the period of deep implement of China's opening-up and reform policy and the acceleration of urbanization, but thousands of children of the rural workers' start their education in rural areas instead of cities and the children mentioned above are the so-called left-behind children. Numbers of the study show the left-behind children have lots of school performance needed to be improved due to the rarefy on family's love and education. On the basis of my deep understanding on their problems and my gigantic visit and overall research and study on the school performance of the left-children in the west areas in China, I will take the children in Mingyu county, Chongqing Municipality, as a typical instance. My analysis indicates that some of their attitude towards leanings falls down, interest in learns vanishs, punctuality loses and their motives and dreams incline to being realistic and profits-directed (money est.).Their learning time cannot be guaranteed and becomes instable. Their inefficient learning, not good enough achievement and decreasing scores appear shaply because of the parents' improper help and monitor.The government and school have taken some certain measures to solve the school performance problem for the left-behind children including the Agent Parents method and the set-up of Parents School. To some extent, these solutions did effectively and positively be applicable to some of the left-behind children, but the forceful solution made by the administration authorities cannot eradicate the root problem. There are four factors should be considered to deal with the rural left-behind children in my opinion, the school, the government, the family and the society.1.Fully optimize the functions of the rural schools as the primary educational hardware for the left-behind children.2.Strengthen government's responsibility on the public education and ask for more contribution to this course.3.Emphasize on the families' education duty to their children including the new educational concept transformation.4,Eastablish the educational supervision and guarantee system in the rural community for the left-behind children. Acutally, the governmental positive responsibilities on the public education, increasing investment on the public education, shrinkage of the educational gap in urban and rural areas and guarantee on the equal educational rights for urban and rural children are the basic solutions.
