Most primary schools adopt tutorials,syllabus and teaching methods designed for dancing majors in teaching practices for years and focus on standardization,training nature and style of dancing.Few attempt to explore dancing tutorials and teaching methods suitable for children of different grades,ages,genders and personalities.However,with the advancement of quality education,dancing teaching of primary schools should be with more humanistic characteristics in individualized pedagogic design and overall quality cultivation.With the case of Dancing Tutorial for Primary School Students,this paper elaborates on the teaching method and educational significance of situational dancing teaching model and concludes that such a model,supported by stories,images and emotions,helps cultivate interests in dancing,inspire improvisation and exert positive influence on both teaching and learning.
