As we know, 21st century is an era of competition and reform of education. At this time, in order to move towards the diversified national education which faces the future, modernization and bring up "nationalized ethnics", "Chinese", "earthmen", the fundamental education of Korean ethnic groups should quicken the progress of modernization of national education and set up a new education concept to establish a new education system which develops their creativity and maximize individual's interests and ability. And the fundamental education of Korean ethnic groups also should manage to establish diversified educational system; standardize and enrich the content of textbooks; improve teaching approaches and modernize teaching tools.However, not only our fundamental education is limited in textbooks and reference books, but also the teaching environments are all restricted in classroom because of test-oriental education. It lags far behind to the trend of current educational development that encourages the education, for all-round development and pays attention to the students' creativity and enhance the students' quality. Though the educational policy in class advocates virtues, wisdom, body and beauty, it limits in wisdom under the pressure of test. And of course, subjects like art and development of body stay in an ignored and limited position. Therefore, dancing education, which is good for children's wisdom development, psychological development and body development, especially good for creativity, is not carried out well in Yanbian fundamental education. Therefore, all these problems are concentrated on in this thesis paper..After making general investment on dancing education of ethic Koreans in China, this thesis has reproved the important position of dancing education in the whole education system on the basis of diachronic analysis on the history of dancing education at home and abroad, and then points out that dancing education should be applied in at the stage of primary education, accompanying with specific approaches and proposals.All relative theories of education are universally accepted to discuss the trend of development of children's dancing education of Korean ethnic groups. Chapter one gives brief introduction about the contents and purpose of the research. Chapter two analyzes the role of dancing education playing in the fundamental education and defines its position. Chapter three makes a comparative study on the dancing education in primary school in Japan, Korea, and Chinese rural areas, such as Central Primary School of Taoligou District, Ha'erbin City, Heilongjiang Province and Lishicai Korean Primary School in Economic Development Zone, Fushun City, Lioaning Province. Chapter five analyzes history and current situation in Korean primary schools in Yanbian and presents the problems. Chapter four discusses the direction of development of Korean primary schools in China and proposes the patterns of teaching contents of dancing education in Korean primary schools which are good for children's comprehensive development. Finally, it presents the ideas on how to cultivate the teaching staff.In conclusion, the thesis sums up setting up dancing course offered in Korean primary schools in China as compulsory subject will make great contribution to cultivate Korean children's all-round development and the development of ethnic Koreans' art. So this thesis ends with the hope that the relevant education departments and primary schools in different levels will pay more attention to the importance of dancing education so as to produce practical significance.
