Sports dancing is a new rising sports in China. Due to sports dancing combines sport andart, good for body fitness and cultivates sentiment, as well as its good for societycommunication,it showed its immeasurable power in the aspects of enrich people's spirituallife and build up people's health. Thus,this sport has been highly welcomed since it came toChina, and caught highly attention of national education department for its effect on China'snational sports. recent years, sports dancing became popular in different cities,everyuniversity is setting up sports dancing course,many primary school,junior school and highschool are arranging campus dance which relates to sports dancing,morden dance and latindance course in dancing club are growing largely and rapidly.It's difficult for Chinese to enter finals of professional group of highest level oninternational competetion stage. The key point is our national sports dancing is lack of thestudy of technique teaching theory,one can hardly find any thoery study for study specifictechnology. the knowledge hierarchy of sports dancing is not systematic enough,teachingmethodology is tedium, and barely any creativity and deep study.This article takes"characteristic teaching mode of sports dancing" as study object,researches several factorsinvolving characteristic teaching mode through different study method such as documentationmethod,observation method,interview method, comparison analyse method and inductivemethod proceed with teaching methodology of sports dancing. This article considers:1. even though sports dancing teaching has existed in China for decades,most sports dancingare basic in a popular style and can't reach a higher level. This is mainly because of teachingmethodology and teaching mode of sports dancing in China. The teaching conception andmode should follow the time and break the old teaching mode, and keep making reformationand innovation.2. due to every person has their own differences in the taste, understand and experience ofdancing, mordern teaching mode became more and more human-based and respect thosedifferences, and focus on give full play to students' initiative. So its quite necessary to invokecharacteristic teaching mode into the teaching of sports dancing. Conclude and intergratecharacteristic teaching mode of sports dancing through research of characteristic teaching methodology.Therefore,with the deepen reformation of the teaching of sports,China's sports dancingshould answer the call of time and develop towards the direction of diversity andcharacteristic but not stuck in tedium and regular old teaching mode.
