With the rapid development of Information Technology,the progress of information technology courses in the field of basic education has attracted much attention from schools and society.In May 2012,the Information Technology Education Committee of CAET(Chinese Association for Education Technology)issued the "Basic Education Information Technology Curriculum Standard(2012 Edition)" which clearly set the expansion module-"robot design and production".In recent years,with the benefit from the rise of manufacturing technology,such as opening hardware and software,3D printers and so on,the significant position of robot education in basic education information technology courses began to show.On the basis of understanding the current situation of Arduino robot teaching and research at home and abroad,with the project-based teaching method as the theoretical framework,this thesis designs and develops a number of teaching projects on Arduino open source platform,and builds the Moodle teaching aiding platform which includes Arduino robot course.With the assistance of project-based teaching process,the research intends to teach students to use Moodle platform to study basic project by themselves,so as to finish integrated project and achieve the meaning construction which is related to the main teaching knowledge in basic and integrated projects.The specific work of this thesis mainly includes the following three parts:firstly,in the light of related teaching contents of "robot design and production"in Basic Education Information Technology Curriculum Standards(2012 Edition),the thesis introduces project-based teaching method.And according to the learning characteristics of junior high school students,it designs and develops 10 Arduino basic teaching projects and 2 integrated projects which are easy for students to accept and close to life.Secondly,it builds the Moodle teaching aiding platform which includes Arduino robot course.Considering the two kinds of different roles as teacher and student,the author designs and develops corresponding functions,uploads project books about basic projects as teaching resource for students to learn,and introduces a variety of classroom activity units,which not only provides teaching resources to students,but also could support teachers and students to organize and carry out teaching activities.Lastly,taking the project of "automatic irrigation system" as an example,the author designs teaching cases of Arduino robot teaching project by using project-based teaching method with the assistance of Moodle platform.This thesis is just a elementary research,which only provides a new teaching possibility for implementation of Arduino robot courses.
