Is the ordinary higher physical education workers in-depth study, to explore and to pursue the goal.Volleyball is one of the sports promotion project of our country at present, set up in Colleges and universities in China have volleyball elective course teaching, but the unique characteristics of volleyball technology, so that the teaching process and teaching mode because of the conventional dull as ditch water, old, single, lack of innovation, to enable students to produce fatigue, reduces the power of students willing to learn lead, develop and popularize volleyball in Colleges and universities is not very optimistic. This research adopts the hierarchical teaching mode, fully demonstrated the student-centered, teacher guided. Let students shift from passive learning to active learning, in the learning process of mining students' potential as much as possible, it has a positive role in improving the students sports skill and physical quality.This study through the literature data method, questionnaire survey method, interview method, experimental method, teaching experiment and mathematical statistics method, the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics 2015 grade volleyball elective class two classes as the experimental object, on the basis of the experimental method, respectively, in the experimental classes and control classes teaching model and conventional teaching mode of teaching. Scientific validation of stratified teaching model from the experimental results, the validity and rationality, to provide a theoretical basis and practical reference for further experimental research, has a role in promoting learning methods to enhance students' physical qualities and grasps the movement technology. It has important realistic significance and practical value to improve the conventional volleyball teaching situation in the same conditions. The teaching of the experimental class and the control class according to the requirements of the experiment teaching, through comparative analysis of experimental results the following conclusions:(1) the use of hierarchical teaching mode can highlight the main status of students(2) the implementation of the hierarchical teaching mode promotes the students' all-round development and enhances the consciousness of cooperation and competition.(3) the application of the stratified teaching mode has a certain promoting effect on improving the technical level of the students' movement.(4) the application of hierarchical teaching mode has a certain degree of improvement in the physical quality of the students(5) the necessity of the implementation of the hierarchical teaching mode in Colleges and Universities...
