Xian Xinghai is an outstanding and great musician in modern China. He plays an important role in Chinese proletarian revolution. People praise his glorious image, also explore and inherit Xinghai's spirit. There are many strategies and paths appearing for improving school development under current educational situation. The school cultural construction becomes one essential element. Each school slowly constructs its own school culture by the long-term accumulation and incorporation of traditional thinking and national spirit. The research of school cultural construction based on Xinghai's spirit appears under this new situation. However, the research of student's school cultural identity based on Xinghai's spirit is slightly insufficient.This research distinguishes fundamental concepts like Xinghai ' s spirit, school culture,cultural identity etc… It generally illustrates the current domestic and foreign status of Xinghai's spirit?school culture?school cultural construction?school cultural identity and influencing factors for student's cultural identity. According to the theoretical principles, it determines the research contents and procedure. It also gives out self-composed questionnaires to 100 students from different school grades for prediction and then collects prediction data for questionnaire modification.It conducts questionnaire surveys for 701 students from different school grades and interviews between students?teachers?parents and administrators. By using quantitative method for data analysis, it has discovered that student's overall level of cultural identity for Xinghai's spirit-based school culture is higher. Also female students have higher level of cultural identity than male students; as the age goes up, the student's overall cultural identity shows upward tendency, but the cognitional and emotional identity slightly decreases because of influence of individual factors; local students have slightly higher level of cultural identity than those from other places; As school years increase, student's school cultural identity also increases, but the cognitional and emotional identity slightly decreases; class monitors are the highest, next is class representatives and group leaders, ordinary students are the lowest. Also there are problems in school cultural identity, such as insufficient and easy fading school cultural cognition, behavioral identity deviation and insufficient guiding efforts. Student's school cultural identity is affected by factors such as individuals, teachers, parents and groups.According to the problems mentioned above and influencing factors for school cultural identity, this research presents the strategy for increasing student's school cultural identity. It includes improving student's subjective intention, guiding student's school cultural identity and media, improving teacher professionalization development, increasing teacher's school cultural identity and constructing outstanding teacher's teams. It also includes increasing communication between parents and schools, organizing school cultural activities for parents, development school cultural connotation based on Xinghai's spirit and conducting humanistic management model.
