Under the new college entrance examination system, the development of career education in high school is becoming more and more important. In fact, most of the high school career education in China is still in the initial stage. Most high school students are vaguely aware of their self-knowledge at the crucial moments when they are facing professional career choices(such as high school electives,3 subjects, university volunteering,etc.).The phenomenon of insufficient preparation in the future,a considerable part of the student's career maturity level is low.Self-identity and interpersonal adaptation are important variables affecting the career maturity of senior high school students. To carry out research on the relationship between the three and occupational maturity interventions can enhance the understanding of senior high school students' career development readiness and further explore self-identity.The mechanism of interpersonal adaptation on the level of professional development of high school students provides data guidance and practical advice for the current career education in senior high schools. The study used the self-identity status scale, the Interpersonal Adaptation Scale, and the Middle School Students' Occupational Maturity Scale to conduct questionnaires on high school students from three schools in Shanghai.A total of 800 questionnaires were tested and valid data were recovered. In 730 cases, the characteristics of the occupational maturity of senior high school students and the influence mechanism of individual self-identity and the development of interpersonal adaptation on their occupational maturity were examined. The relationship between the three was combined with the Shanghai School Career Counselling Program to design high school seniority.Nine-week career counseling with the theme of career maturity. The following findings were found in the study:(1)The development level of the career maturity of high school students as a whole showed a normal distribution, and the occupational maturity of high school students was generally at a medium level.(2)There is a significant difference in the maturity of senior high school students in terms of demographic variables(gender, grade),and the score of boys in the occupational maturity variable is significantly lower than that of girls;the score of high-level career maturity is also significantly higher..(3)Self-identity and interpersonal adaptation areimportant factors affecting professional maturity.Among them, there is a significant positive correlation between self-identity of senior high school students and occupational maturity;the prosocial orientation dimension and self-identity,occupational maturity in interpersonal adaptation. There is a significant positive correlation, and there is a significant negative correlation between the dimensions of interpersonal alienation in self-adaptation and self-identity and occupational maturity.(4)Interpersonal adaptation as an intermediary variable can,to a certain extent, reveal the mechanism of self-identity on occupational maturity. The pro-social orientation of interpersonal adaptation exists between the three dimensions of self-identity of senior high school students and occupational maturity. The mediating effect, while the dimension of interpersonal alienation only has a mediating effect between the dimensions of past crisis and the maturity of the self-identity of high school students.(5)On the basis of studying the relationship between variables, drawing lessons from the case of school career education in Shanghai and previous experience in the intervention of professional maturity, the career group guidance can significantly improve the level of professional maturity of high school students. This study not only provides theoretical reference for school career counseling in senior middle school, but also suggests that schools, parents, and students themselves pay attention to their self-identity development and the influence of interpersonal adaptive ability on their occupational maturity.Provide comprehensive guidance and advice.
