With the advancement of the college entrance examination reform,high school students are facing the confusion of 3 + 3 electives,major choices and career choices.Vocational education in high schools is becoming increasingly important.The mission of a middle high school is not only to help students accomplish their high school education and enter the desired college,but also can help students understand their specialty and strengths,and avoid the blindness of choosing subjects and majors.Career maturity is an important indicator for career planning evaluation.Self-identity and achievement motivation are important variables affecting high school students' professional maturity.Research on the relationship between the three will help us to know the development of middle high-school students' career status,and further explore self-identity and achievement motivation for professional development.Influence mechanism to provide data guidance and practical significance for current high school career planning education.In this study,415 senior high school students were selected as samplesThe self-identity status scale,achievement motivation scale,and middle school student career maturity scale were used in this study,which aims to survey a general high school.It examined the development level of high school students' professional maturity and individual self-esteem.To explore the influence mechanism of the development of self-identity and achievement motivation and professional maturity is important.The results of the study are as follows:1.The development level of vocational maturity of high school students is at a medium level;There are no significant differences in the vocational maturity of high school students in gender,grade and subject types.2.The distribution of high school students' self-identity status is uneven.48% of high school students are at a low level.3.High school students' achievement motivation is in the medium to above intensity.The gender difference of achievement motivation in high school students is obvious,and male students are significantly higher than female students.The grade difference of achievement motivation of senior high school students is significant,and the grade of senior high school students is significantly higher than that of senior high school students.There is no significant difference in the subject types of high school students' achievement motivation.4.There is a significant positive correlation between high school students' self-identity and career maturity;There is a significant positive correlation between high school students' self-identity and the tendency towards success in achievement motivation,and a significant negative correlation between high school students' self-identity and the tendency to avoid failure.There is a significant correlation between career maturity and achievement motivation in high school students.Specifically,there is a significant positive correlation between career maturity and success and overall achievement motivation,while there is a significant negative correlation between avoiding failure and career maturity.5.Achievement motivation plays a part in mediating the relationship between self-identity and career maturity.This study not only provide data reference for school career planning curriculum,also from the perspective of empirical school,suggested that parents should guide the students correctly,let the students to actively explore self,encouraging students to actively face the tasks and challenges,to broaden the students' professional world,the choice of the college entrance examination subjects for students,the future professional choices,as well as a basis for future career development.
