The use of mobile phone refers to all the use of mobile phone functions and services(especially network services),particularly,the frequency of its use.The users form subjective feelings based on the phone functions.After entering the new century,there is a growing demand for mobile phones.And with the development of technology,the functions of the mobile phone have been improved.The modern function of the mobile phone has enriched people's daily life,but it will inevitably produce negative chain reaction,especially for immature junior high school students.The current researches of the mobile phone use are mostly concentrated on the college students or vocational students rather than junior high school students.A lot of researches are based on mobile phone addiction,and the studies which put mobile phone using into the normalization.are still less.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the use of mobile phone at the time period of learning and growth.Achievement goals orientation is defined as cognitive representations of competence-relevant possibilities that guide behavior to a competence-related end state that the individual is committed to either approach or avoidance.In education,it proposes that students' motivation and achievement-related behaviors can be understood by considering the reasons or purposes they adopt while engaged in academic work.The different orientation of achievement goal can make students produce different characteristics in learning,completing tasks and improving abilities,so that they will have different views on abilities and efforts.It will affect the students' recognition and acceptance of their own.The impact on the mental health of junior high school students is enormous.But it is not clear what can effect junior high school students' achievement goal orientation.We may better serve the different orientation of achievement goal when we explore the influence factors of achievement goal orientation.Through the study,junior high school students can pay more attention to the intrinsic value and satisfaction of learning and work,so that they can experience the happiness in the process of completing the task rather than learning to produce confrontation and resentment.Finally we will improve their happiness index in the pursuit of the goal.Although previous studies have shown that the salience of mobile phone use is related to the achievement goal orientation,there is no literature support for the further research.The use of mobile phone frequency among the middle school students is not immutable and frozen.Almost no research has been carried out on the relationship between mobile phone use and achievement goal orientation from the vertical angle.This study uses longitudinal design and cross-lagged analysis.The purpose of this study is to explore the longitudinal relationship between mobile phone use and achievement goal orientation,and to further study which achievement orientation can be influenced by the mobile use.Based on the previous study,the purpose of this study mainly includes the following aspects:(1)The trend of mobile phone use in junior high school students in a semester(2)To explore the characteristics of mobile phone use and achievement goal orientation in junior high school students.(3)To explore the relationship between the use of mobile phones and achievement goal orientation,as well as to explore which achievement orientation can be influenced by the mobile use.The study uses mobile phone frequency questionnaire,achievement goal orientation scale as a measurement tool.The research results show that:(1)The frequency of mobile phone use in the measurement time is rising.(2)There was no significant difference in gender and grade in the mobile phone use.But there were significant differences in the mastery orientation of achievement goal orientation.(3)There is a significant negative correlation between mobile phone use and achievement goal.Cross lagged analysis shows that there were causal relationships between mobile phone use and performance approach goals,mastery approach goals and mastery avoidance goals.Conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The frequency of mobile phone use increased from the very beginning of this semester.(2)There was no significant difference in gender or grade in the frequency of mobile phone use.Only the mastery orientation of achievement goal orientation had significant difference in grade.(3)The mobile phone use will affect performance approach goals,mastery approach goals and mastery avoidance goals rather than performance avoidance goals.
