Mobile phones,as intelligent communication devices, have penetrated into people’s lives and brought about a series of changes and influences and become indispensable tools. At the same time, mobile phone dependence is also inevitably into people’s lives.High school students are at high risk of cell phone dependence.Mobile phone dependence not only has an adverse effect on the psychology, physiology and academics of high school students, but also easily leads to problem behaviors. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the influencing factors and mechanism of mobile phone dependence and to carry out practical intervention on this basis. There are two studies in this paper:In the first study,1021 students from two high schools in Xuzhou City were investigated by means of a questionnaire survey in class,to explore the relationship between parenting style,self-control and high school students’ mobile phone dependence. On the basis of the first study,Study 2 randomly selected 30 subjects from the top 27%of the student population in the mobile phone dependence score, and randomly divided them into the experimental group and the control group, each with 15 students. The self-directed cognitive and behavioral group counseling program focused on improving self-control was used to intervene in the experimental group. At the same time, the control group was not subjected to any treatment,so as to investigate the effect of the program in improving self-control of high school students and reducing their mobile phone dependence. The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Negative parenting styles affect high school students’ mobile phone dependence through self-control.(2)The self-directed cognitive and behavioral group counseling program can effectively improve the self-control ability and reduce the level of cell phone dependence of high school students.
