Through the analysis of the frequently used Korean vocabulary "eodi", this paper explains its functions of discourse markers. Also, through the analysis of the semant ic and syntactic functions of discourse markers of "eodi", the author tries to explore teaching plans, which are suitable for Chinese learners to study them.The research contents of this paper are as follows:First, starting from the basic interrogative pronouns'meaning of "eodi", it keeps expanding the meaning in discourse. So that it can achieve 5 functions of discourse markers:giving negative or antisense meaning, suggesting speakers'psychological att itude, expressing dissatisfaction, as well as showing user's concentration.Second, the syntactic function of the discourse marker "eodi" is analyzed. Discou rse markers of "eodi" often occur in declarative sentences, interrogative sentences, im perative sentences and lure sentences. However, in the last two kinds of sentences, di scourse markers of "where" do not have the semantic functions of expressing dissatis faction, negation or opposition.Third, based on the analysis of the semantic function and syntactic function, the teaching content of the discourse markers of "eodi" is selected, and some specific te aching plans are provided for Chinese learners.Discourse markers play a critical role in oral communication, so this study of di scourse markers of "eodi" is intended to be able to have a certain positive effect on the Korean language teaching for Chinese learners.
