The Research Of Discourse Marker "Huanjuhuashuo"

In recent years,discourse markers have become a topic of intense discussion.There are not only words that have been completely transformed into discourse markers,but there are also many words that are gradually being transformed into discourse markers.Whether in academia or in daily life,discourse markers are everywhere.Under the general background of discourse markers,this article selects the case "in other words" as the research object.Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign discourse markers,combined with the current research theories and research methods on discourse markers,the grammar shows,Semantic relations,pragmatic function,formation motivation,comparison of similar forms.This article is divided into seven parts:The first chapter is the introduction.The introduction first explains the reason for the topic selection and the significance of the research.The reason for the topic selection is based on the history of the study of discourse markers.From the first proposal of discourse markers in 1953,to the current heated discussion and expounding why you choose "change sentence" "Speaking" conducts research;the research significance part discusses the theoretical and practical significance of researching "in other words".Secondly,it separately elaborates discourse markers and their current research status,and sorts out the views of different scholars in terms of qualitative characteristics and functional characteristics.In terms of the research status,the foreign and domestic researches on "in other words" were sorted out.Finally,I write about the research methods and corpus sources of this article.The second chapter is the grammatical expression part of "in other words",which is grammatically qualitative,explaining "in other words" as words and "in other words" as discourse markers.Next,when it comes to the syntactic performance of "in other words",it is explained separately from the embedded text,the first position of the discourse,the cohesive sentence category,and the variant form.The third chapter is the semantic relationship of "in other words".It summarizes four kinds of emphasis and being emphasized,generalization and generalization,expression and supplement,basis and judgment.The fourth chapter is the pragmatic function of "in other words",firstly,it inherits the expression from the organization and connection of the discourse function,illuminating reminders,and deduction;secondly,it expresses the convergent sign,attitude expression,and weakening degree of interpersonal function;Constructing functional heterogeneous expressions from the context and adapting to the scene;finally,the cognitive effects are expressed from strengthening the original proposition,constructing new cognition,and seeking interaction.The fifth chapter is about the reasons for the formation of "in other words",from the perspectives of lexicalization,syntactic structure prompting,subjectivization of language,and interactive communication.The sixth chapter is the near-general form of "in other words",respectively comparing the style distribution of "in other words",the semantic relations,pragmatic function,and style distribution of the near-general form "that is to say";the near-general form" In other words,the semantic relationship,pragmatic function,and style distribution of "in other words";highlight the unique use value of "in other words".The seventh chapter is the conclusion.Through the article,the understanding and shortcomings of this article are analyzed.
