Clinical Observation Of Hexue Decoction Decoction In The Treatment Of Blood Deficiency And Dryness Eczema

Objective:Eczema is a common clinical skin disease,which can be reacted in all parts of the human skin body surfaces.One of the main characteristics of the clinical manifestation is the repetition of reoccurrence in skin rashes with great itchiness,which affected the quality of a patient's life.The purpose of the research is to observe the clinical efficacy of"HeXueChuShi" decoction on the TCM symptoms of "blood deficiency with wind dryness",and to promote the advantages of tcm treatment in eczema through the intervene of herbal prescription.Method:Enroll 60 patients who fits the description of chronicle eczema,randomly divided into two groups with ratio of 1:1 by Excel,to conduct random comparison research.Treatment group is given oral HeXueChuShi decoction/bag/bid(pallet formula from DongZhiMen hospital);comparison group were giving RunZaoZhiYang capsule 4 cap./tid(GuiZhouTongJiTang pharmaceutical Inc).Two groups share identical topical treatment with QingPeng ointment/bid(TongTianHeZangYao pharmaceutical Inc).Patient assessments are conducted at 3 time points(enrollment,2 weeks and 4 weeks).Observation index are as followed:area and severity of eczema(EASI),level of irritation,patient life quality index(DLQI)and adverse effect after medicinal intervention.Result:The 60 test subjects in this research consists of 28 males and 32 females,average age of 42±9,eczema occurrence is highest in age of 40-49(43%),and is lowest in age of 18-29(12%).Average time for course of disease is 17±6 months(between 6-36 months).After 4 weeks of medicinal intervention,both groups have shown significant improvement in area of lesion and severity score(EASI),but there is no significant difference between 2 groups.In the level of irritation,both groups shown significantly decreased irritation(P<0.05),and treatment group shown better result than the comparison group(P<0.05).Both groups shown significant improvement is DLQI score(P<0.05),and treatment group has shown greater improvement(P=<0.05).Conclusion:HeXueChuShi decoction is effective in reducing the area of eczema lesion and the severity of the lesion,as well as relieving irritation and improving patients' life quality;no adverse effect case were reported after the treatments were deployed.In conclusion,this study has proven that HeZxueChuShi decoction is effective in treating chronicle eczema-blood deficiency and wind dryness syndrome and should be considered for future clinical use.
