Objective:To observe the start cooling time and the total cooling time and its relationship with dose by jinghaofang bathing in adjuvant treatment of children exopathogenic fever, and provide the clinical basis for the reasonable application of the medicated bath treatment. Methods:Using completely randomized design, chose 100 case of fever children accord with children exopathogenic fever diagnosis standard which aged from 6 months to 3 years old in pediatrics department of the First Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, and divided them into warm water bath group, low dose treatment group, medium dose treatment group, high dose treatment group randomly, observing each group improve situation in curative effect index include the start cooling time and the total cooling time and so on.Results:The effect in medium and high dose treatment group was better than warm water bath group and low dose treatment group in curative effect index of 2h-antipyretic effect, the total cooling time, the start cooling time,24h-temperature repeated times etc, the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.01). Continued effect determination:The temperature decline scores of all groups in 30min and 4h is not statistically significant (P> 0.05),1h and 2h is statistically significant, the medium dose treatment group is higher than that of low dose treatment group in 1h temperature decline scores, and no difference between the medium dose treatment group and high dose treatment group; the high dose treatment group is significantly higher than that of warm water bath group and low dose treatment group in 2h temperature decline scores, the difference between the medium dose treatment group and high dose treatment group are not statistically significant (P> 0.05).Conclusion:Jinghaofang bathing is effected in children exopathogenic fever, medium and high dose treatment group significantly shorter than warm water bath group and low dose treatment group in start cooling time and total cooling time, also can significantly reduce the temperature repeated times in 24h, increasing last effect, and high dose treatment group is no significant difference between medium dose treatment group, namely 2g/100ml concentration can have better antipyretic effect. Adverse reactions were not found in the treatment.
