Purpose:To analyze and discuss the relationship between late complications of liver cancer and the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type.Material and method:Collected from March 2012 to March 2014 in the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Oncology hospitalized cases. A retrospective study using methods, frequency statistics was made according to 48 cases of patients with advanced liver cancer clinical syndrome and complication, cluster analysis of TCM syndrome, summarized the relationship between the TCM syndrome type and complications.Results: 1. 48 cases of patients with advanced liver cancer symptoms and signs appearing frequency are: More than 80% of patients lump, anorexia, fatigue; 79.2% of patients had abdominal distension; 40% to 48% of patients with red, flank pain, jaundice, poor sleep, lower extremity edema and other symptoms; 30% ~ 33% of patients with weight loss, yellow urine, pulse and other symptoms. 2. 48 patients complicated with hepatic encephalopathy 35 cases(72.9%); 31 cases of secondary infection(64.6%); 20 cases of gastrointestinal bleeding(41.7%); 10 cases(20.8%) of hepatorenal syndrome; low spontaneous sugar 3 cases(6.3%); gastrointestinal obstruction three cases(6.3%); liver nodules rupture of one case(2.1%).In 48 patients concurrent four kinds of complications in 2 patients(4.1%), the emergence of three kinds of complications in 12 patients(25%), the emergence of two kinds of complications in 25 patients(52.1%), the emergence of a kinds of complications in 9 patients(18.8%). 3. In this study, patients with advanced liver cancer syndromes common distribution mainly as follows: First Class organs decay is the toxic heat stasis liver, a total of 16 cases(33.33%); second liver Qi stagnation, 14 cases(29.17%); third category liver-kidney, 13 cases(27.08%);The fourth category gallbladder damp-heat, 3 cases(6.25%); fifth spleen wet storm type, 2 cases(4.17%).Conclusion: 1. Advanced liver cancer syndromes are: toxic heat stasis liver, qi stagnation, liver and kidney, liver and gallbladder damp-heat and spleen wet storm type. 2. Common complication of hepatic encephalopathy, secondary infection, gastrointestinal bleeding, hepatorenal syndrome, spontaneous hypoglycemia and gastrointestinal obstruction. 3. Visceral complications in patients with toxic heat stasis liver appears to hepatic encephalopathy, secondary infections and gastrointestinal bleeding based; patients with liver Qi stagnation of hepatic encephalopathy incidence of up to 100%; the incidence of spontaneous hypoglycemia in the liver and kidney higher in patients with deficiency; patient spleen wet storm type prone to gastrointestinal bleeding and gastrointestinal obstruction.
