A Clinical Study On The Relationship Between The Evolution Of TCM Syndromes And Karnofsky Scores In Middle And Advanced Primary Colorectal Cancer

Purpose:To explore the relationship between the evolution of TCM syndromes and the Karnofsky score(KPS score)in advanced primary colorectal cancer(hereinafter referred to as middle and late stage colorectal cancer).Material and method:A retrospective study was conducted in this study.129 patients with primary colorectal cancer in the middle and late stages were clustered according to symptoms and signs,analyzed by principal components,and summed up the TCM syndromes of each type of patients.The correlation and consistency analysis of KPS scores were performed to study the intrinsic relationship between the evolution of syndromes and KPS scores in patients with colorectal cancer.Results: 1.Symptoms most commonly seen in patients with advanced colorectal cancer are fatigue(69%);followed by symptoms such as diarrhea(44%)and anorexia(40%);less frequent symptoms are upset irritability,weight loss,Abdominal pain,loose stools,aversion to coldness,dry stool,loose stools,nausea,vomiting,etc.,were less than 30%.2.The colorectal cancer in middle and late stage can be classified as liver qi stagnation type(35.7%),spleen and stomach type(31.0%),spleen and kidney yang deficiency type(23.2%),and cancerous phlegm type(10.1%).There is a certain correlation between the TCM syndromes of patients and KPS scores.When the KPS score was 100 to 80 points,the liver qi stagnation was the main condition;when the KPS score was 70 to 50 points,the spleen and stomach did not concentrate;when the KPS score was 40 to 30 points,the spleen and kidney yang deficiency was the main factor.When the patient's KPS score was ?20 points,the main symptoms were cancer toxicity.Conclusion: 1.The TCM syndromes of middle and late stage colorectal cancer are liver qi stagnation,spleen and stomach insufficiency,spleen and kidney yang deficiency,and cancerous phlegm-suppression type,which can provide reference for future development of standard colorectal cancer syndromes.2.The syndromes of middle and late stage of colorectal cancer mainly consist of virtual reality and inclusion,while the later stage is dominated by positive and false evil.The demonstration is mainly caused by liver qi and cancer,and the deficiency is mainly attributed to deficiency of spleen and kidney and deficiency of qi.The evolution of TCM syndromes is transformed from deficiency and confusion to the deficiency of qi and cultivars.It is caused by the stagnation of stagnation of liver qi stagnation,disharmony of spleen and stomach,and deficiency of spleen and kidney yang and cancer resistance.3.There is a good correlation and consistency between the evolution of TCM syndromes of middle-late colorectal cancer and KPS scores.In the clinical treatment,the characteristics of the syndrome evolution of patients at different stages should be paid attention to in order to improve the symptoms of patients,improve the quality of life of patients,and prolong the effective of patients.
