The development of TOD is facing a more complex situation in China,the constructions of the rail transit are generally posterior to the high-density built-up area in the process of urban development,land use and built environment surrounding stations could not completely fit with the principles of TOD.In the face of all kinds of complicated situations,the focus of urban planning turns to how to enhance the overall efficiency of the built-up area through the construction of rail transit.This paper took Longgang district in Shenzhen as an example,to explore how to coordinate the relationship between land use and rail transit through TOD in the built-up area,and put forward the development strategy of TOD group hierarchy.This paper reviewed the practical and theoretical research of TOD,especially the correlational studies after the TOD theory was proposed.Then put forward a research framework of TOD group hierarchy,and summarized the successful experience of TOD group hierarchy development in Hong Kong,the result showed that it should adjust measures to local conditions to develop TOD.Also,this paper further explore the methods and cases,to coordinate the rail transit and land use under various land-use functions,intensity,form,and schedule,and empirical studied the Longgang District in Shenzhen.Based on the present and planning situations of Longgang District,the paper discussed the method of group division on the analysis of natural topography and land-use functions,industrial cluster,rail service and other factors.Verified the divided groups by transit passenger flow,cell phone signal data and the traditional survey method.At the same time,this paper discussed the traffic characteristics of each group,as well as the relationship among the characteristics,industry types and residential forms.Finally,proposed the suggestions of each group.This paper took the Longcheng group as an example,analyzed the jobs and residential populations and other passengers result from current stations,planning objective and all kinds of urban renovations.And put forward TOD strategy to guide modification of the statutory plan.
