Research On Interaction Design Of Small Aging Kitchen Appliances Based On Multi-channel Behavior Characteristics

With the continuous improvement of people's life quality,kitchen which is a quite important space in our daily life is experiencing an intelligent change.As an important component of this space,small kitchen appliances is getting more and more people's attention.At the same time,the demand of small kitchen appliances is also improving accompanied by the change of people's mode of life.As we all know that most popular smart home appliances are designed for young customers,so it is not that easy for the elderly people to grasp the interaction advantage.Firstly,this paper which takes the aging of society as the research background,chooses the kitchen small household electrical appliances as the study object.The paper gives a theoretical research based on the multi-channel theory and product interaction design theory through a large number of literature.Besides that,this paper also focuses on the basic research according to the visual,auditory and tactile multi-channel perception of elderly people.Secondly,the paper tries to understand the living conditions of older groups by the track shooting of typical users.Subsequent research which focuses on the behavior of small household appliances in the kitchen for the elderly groups will be followed by extracting the multi-channel behavioral elements in the process of using small kitchen appliances.Further research will concentrate on the human-computer interactive behavior factors and product design elements of the kitchen small household electrical appliances in order to obtain the kitchen small household appliances use demand of the aged group.At the end of the paper,the principles of memory burden reduction,affordability and fault tolerance will be summarized in order to lead to adaptive aging design strategies of multi-channel behavioral characteristics such as visual design strategy,auditory design strategy and tactile design strategy.Finally,this paper will take product and interface design of rice cooker which is a small kitchen appliance as an example,put the aging of small kitchen appliances interactive design into practice according to the behavioral characteristics of the elderly groups.
