Now a days, the automobile electronic technology develops fast, electronic control system has been one of the hottest technologies in this area. The electronic system of automobile has a direct impact on the power performance, economy, reliability, security,steerability, comfort, etc. Body control system belongs to one of the important parts of the automotive electronic control system, it has been the major development direction of many automobile electronic products manufacturers over the years. The mature body control system technology has been hold in the hands of foreign monopoly enterprises, domestic automobile electronic products enterprises is in disadvantage stage obviously. In the field of commercial vehicles of China, the body control system technology gap is smaller, but in the field of passenger car, this gap is more bigger. Thus it is particularly important to design a qualified body control system for the domestic commercial vehicle.This paper entitled "FAW GM L330 body control system"(Shorted for BCM), it is important in automotive electronic systems, the design process including products needs analysis, the design of development process, software design, hardware design and the system test, etc. This body control system mainly include the basic functions of lamps, wipers,windows, glasses defrosting, rear view mirror, and the CAN and LIN bus communication function. This paper introduces the basic concept and classification of the car body control system firstly, and then describe the body control system in detail respectively from the aspects of hardware, software and the module test. Mainly explain the following aspects in detail:1) Hardware design. First of all, designing the hardware module system architecture according to the product functional requirements specification, reasonably locating the MCU chip resources, then design the control module according to the design of the system specification. This article mainly describes the design process of the following modules,which include selection of the MCU, power supply module, the common I/O port low effective input circuit, the low side drive output circuit and the high side drive output circuit.2) Software design. First this paper introduces the basic communication of CAN bus and LIN bus, And then design modules of the software through reference the hardware design process, Combined with DAVE and initialized KEIL software to design the software, And finally, write all the software modules. This thesis mainly includes following software modules: data transfer function output module, fault diagnosis module, I/O input and feedback input checking module, output driver module and CAN bus communication module.3) System test. First introduces the BCM system test platform designed by Hongfa automotive electronic systems Co. Ltd, and then introduces the system test project in detail.Because this testing system involves more project, this paper only describe the basic wiper function and the remote control function in detail.These research results meet the requirements of the vehicle electric control, applied and validated in car models, has a strong practical significance.
