Since the century21, with the development of technology, thetechnology of automotive electronics has developed quickly. A brand newtechniques in the different field such as LCD, DVD, touch-screen, GPS,wireless network and so on has been used in automotive electronics.It will discuss a new display sub-system for automotive electronics. First,it introduces the technique features and current development of automotiveelectronics, and finds the shortage of current display sub-system forautomotive electronics. Second, it introduces the background material ofautomotive electronics and advances the overall design project. Third, it baseson the shortage such as product upgrading, power controlling, fault detectionand showing backcamera video after powering on as soon as possible. Afteranalyzing, it raises the basic idea of hardware and software developing. Fouth,Based on basic idea, it analyzes and designes MiniOS, communicationsub-system, GUI sub-system, backcamera sub-system, power savingsub-system and fault detection sub-system. Fifth, it summarizes therealization approach on TW88xx evolution board, and comments the currentdevelopment statement of display-system. Finally, it makes an expectation ofthe display system.
