Automotive body control module, the BCM (Body Control Module), refers to a variety ofconvenience and comfort for the driver and passenger modules. With the development of bodycontrol system technology, the traditional means of communication control system cannot meetthe body’s requirements for information transmission. The CAN bus has good reliability,timeliness and flexibility advantages, ideally suited for applications in the automotive networks.Based on the body of each module control system needs analysis, developed a networkcommunication protocol based on CAN bus, and using CANoe control system modeling andsimulation analysis, the final design of the system to meet the needs of the control module. Themain contents are as follows:(1) In view of literature and learning, based on the summary of the development status ofthe body control module and CAN bus technology and future prospects.(2) CAN Bus Principle introduction. Summarizes the basic features of the CAN bus toCAN hierarchical structure, the message frame, non-destructive arbitration process and CANnetworking, focusing on details of the basic principles of CAN bus technology.(3) Body control module simulation. Determined in accordance with the functionalrequirements of the body control module body control system topology, detailed analysis of thesystem control function of each node and network communications protocol developed on thisbasis. Use CANoe software to establish based on CAN bus body control system and controlmodule, using CANdb++to establish a communication with the database, analyze the workprocess simulation nodes and using CAPL (Communication Application ProgrammingLanguage) language for the control system, each module can be programmed, and finally thesimulation results are analyzed.(4) Implementation and debugging control module. According to the functionalrequirements of the system were the main components of the type design, the design gives themain circuit. In Freescale16-bit microcontroller core MCS12DP256using CodeWarriorprepared each module controller control program, developed to control the flow of the controlfunction of the associated control algorithms in-depth study. Finally completed the integrationand testing of the system.
