Abstract/Summary:
With the maturing of the modern vehicle functions, more and more electricaland electronic equipments have been applied into the vehicle, but the connectionand communication between them is being increasingly more complex. Therefo re,the traditional control method with distributed control and centralized control modecan not satisfy the control and communication needs among the growing number ofelectrical and electronic equipment in the body of automobile. At present, foreignautomobile manufacturers have started to pay attention to the emerging distributedbody control mode with multi-bus and hybrid network. However, for the reasons oftechnical protection and competition in the industry, the automobile manufacturersin China rarely have the opportunity to approach to this advanced body controltechnology, which seriously restricted the development of China’s automobileindustry. So, how to quickly make out a distributed body control mode using multi-bus and hybrid network with independent intellectual property rights in order topromote the development of China’s automobile industry becomes an urgentproblem which automotive electronics engineers should solve.After an in-depth study of the hierarchy, packet transmission, networking of theCAN protocol and the LIN protocol, the paper has determined the overall design ofbody control system with the CAN/LIN hybrid network.According to the overall design of the body control system based on the hybridnetwork, the paper has designed the detailed hardware circuits for the gateway node(LIN network host nodes), slave nodes and the functional modules.It has alsodesigned the PCB board and electromagnetic compatibility of the hardware circuit s.Based on the hardware platform of body control system and the CAN/LINprotocol packet transmission mechanis m, the paper has designed the applicationsoftware of the gateway node in the hybrid network and slave nodes in LINnetwork.The most important achievement is that it has realised the mutualconversion between the CAN/LIN message and the transparent transmission ofmassages between different the networks.Based on LabVIEW and CANalystll protocal analyzer, the paper has designedthe visualization main controller of CAN network which can manage CAN message.And it has set up the experimental platform composed of the main controller andbody control system.And it has implemented the experiment of body controlfunction and the experiment which analyze the reliability of communication of theCAN/LIN hybrid network. This paper has successfully realized the message transparent trans mission inthe CAN/LIN hybrid network, and completed the vehicle body control based on thehybrid network.The system has a good performance in the communication andvehicle body control. This study also provides a good example for the application ofthe use of the CAN/LIN hybrid network in the vechile body control.
