The Luoxiao Mountains vein is the source of Poyang Lake and Dongting Lake,and it is also the cradle of the Gan River,Xiangjiang River,Bac Giang and other water systems,and its unique ecological ecotone is the gene pool for studying species diversity,so its research value and economic potential need to be further developed.Because of the restrictive factors of history,geography,economy and policy,the characteristics and diversity of Luoxiao mountains have never been studied systematically and comprehensively.In the Ministry of Science and Technology "National science and technology basic work special Focus project" funding,this research activity from June 2013 to December2018,this paper is based on 5 years of all data analysis and summary written.The main results are as follows:1.By April 2018,collected 40997 insect species,all species of the collecting and identifying data are input in the database of Luoxiao mountain insects,identificat 11570 species,belonging to 12 orders 264 families 875 genera 1127 species.625 of these have been described before,the new identification of 502 species.2.In this paper,the new 502 identificated species provide a description of the characteristics,the preparation of a classification retrieval table for the follow-up of the area related to the identification of insects to provide a certain reference value.3.The characteristics of the insect community in the Luoxiao Mountain collection point were compared,and the dominant order,family,genus and specie of the whole mountain were summed up.4.Use of five data analysis models to compute and analyze dominance index,richness index,shannon-wiener diversity index,Simposn dominance concentration index,Pielou evenness index.5.The insect fausa of Luoxiao mountains were summarized according to related literatures and the distribution of 1127 identificated species.
