Study On The Diversity Of Insect Communities Under The Lamp In Changbai Mountain

Insect is one of the most integral members of ecosystem. Up to now, there is no special reports about insect communities under the lamp in Changbai Mountain. In July, August in 2003 and in July, August and September in 2004, we have investigated five times at various altitude in Changbai Mountain with main purpose to provide important theoretic basis and basic imformation for maintaining balance of ecosystem and protecting biodiversity in this region.The diversity of insect under the lamp in composition, seasonal variation, vertical variation, biodiversity and similarity in Changbai Mountain is studied in this paper. The results are as follows.l.At the four various altitude of the region, 5146 specimens belong to 11 orders, 64 families, 303 genera and 408 species were collected. Among them, Lepidoptera is the dominant order; Noctuidae and Geometridae are dominant families; and Alcis, Polia, Catocala are dominant genus; Anaplectoides prasina Schiffermuller, Arichanna melanaria fraterna Butler, Dendrolimus superans Butler, Venusia cambrica Curtis, Oporinia autumnata autumnus Bryk and Anagoga pulverariajapanica Butler are dominant species.2.The insect fauna of Lepidoptera under the lamp is complicated. There are 8 kinds of geographic distribution. The main element of fauna is palaearctic species which make up 66.35%, and the palaearctic-oriental species make up 29.17%.3. At various altitude, there are a lot of differences in the composition of species and individual number of the insect communities. The order of the change in species number is â…  > â…¡ >â…¢> â…£. The order of the change in individuals number is â…  >â…¢> â…¡ >â…£. At various altitude, Geometridae is the same dominant group, Noctuidae is the same common group except at altitude â…¢. At altitude â… ,â…¡ and â…¢, the propotion of the individual number of Geometridae is bigger than that of Noctuidae. The change of the common groups number at different altitude plots is small, Notodontidae and Trichoptera are the same common group at every altitude. The change of the rare group and the most rare group at different altitude are evident.4.The trend of the change in groups number and the individuals number of the insect under the lamp in different time is :July> August> September.
