In recent years,food safety incidents happen frequently in China.The consumers don't trust domestic food and they would like to buy imported food.However,food safety is a worldwide problem.The development of food global circulation and international trade can put threat on the health of the customers of other countries and the world at the same time due to food contamination in one single country or region.As the variety and quantity of imported food increase year by year,China's imported food safety is becoming more and more prominent.The paper uses the unqualified imported food,cosmetics information data from monthly food risk early warning information issued by Import and Export Food Safety of AQSIQ(General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine of P.R.C.).From the perspective of imported food safety hidden trouble,this study focuses on the following:First of all,based on data of China's imported food from 2006 to 2014,it analyzes what the main types of China's imported unqualified food are and where they come from.Through the quantitative research of imported unqualified batches,weight,fraction defective,the paper argues that,the fraction defective of China's imported food shows a trend of decline,but overall imported foods and unqualified batch quantity is on the rise,so China's imported food still has many potential safety hazard.Secondly,the paper carries on a quantitative research about the main reason for the unqualified imported food and combines the food classification and origins for cross analysis.It argues that the main reasons for the unqualified imported food in our country are the pollution in the process of storage and transportation,the unqualified labels and additive in the process.Unqualified batches mainly come from the United States,Taiwan,Burma,France,and Malaysia.Thirdly,the paper does a theoretical analysis of the influence factors of the imported food safety.Then,it builds the individual fixed effect panel data model and the individual time double fixed effect panel data model to do the empirical test on possible influencing factors.From the perspective of industry chain,imported food itself quality problems,the risk of food quality changes during the process of transportation,imported food regulation and exporting countries and by China's laws and regulations in China standard differences are the influence factors of imported food quality and safety problems in our country.The paper carries on the empirical analysis of most rejected batches of cookies and cakes.The empirical results show that our country law and regulation and the risk of quality changes during the process of transportation has significant effects of import food safety problems in China.By the implementation of the food safety law in our country,the fraction defective of China's imported food has declined.The fraction defective of cookies and cakes is negatively related to the price.Finally,based on the above analysis of our country imported food safety problems we put forward relevant policy Suggestions.From the perspective of the consumer,the consumer should not blindly believe imported food,imported food security problem also exists,they should be rational consumers.From the national point of view,first of all,China should establish a unified food safety information platform.Second,strengthen the supervision of exporters and agents.Third,according to different products set up a database for the scientific risk analysis.Fourth,establish imported food storage and transportation standards.Fifth,strengthen regulation and revise and improve relevant laws and regulations.Therefore,we can ensure the safety of China's imported food.
