This project took a certain port in Beibu Gulf of Guangxi as the main research site.Through sampling inspection of imported food at the port,and combining with the investigation of food safety awareness of imported food operators and consumers at the port,the safety problems of imported food at the port were comprehensively summarized and analyzed,and effective supervision countermeasures were put forward in view of the corresponding problems.A sample survey and statistical analysis of 16 categories and 1038 batches of imported food from a port in Guangxi Beibu Gulf from 2015 to 2017 were conducted.The result is:Southeast Asia was the main source of imported food at the port,accounting for 68.98%of all imported food batches at the port from 2015 to 2017;the unqualified rate of imported foods at the port in 2015-2017 was 13.29%,and the unqualified rate of imported foods originating from Oceania,Europe and Southeast Asia ranked first(up to 69.23%),Second(for 24.24%)and third(for 15.22%);imported unsatisfactory rate of dried fruit and canned foods up to 100%,The unqualified rates of seaweed and algae,grain,oilseeds and vegetable oils with large imported batches food were 18.01%,12.13%,0.57%,and 25.92%,respectively;the Chinese labels and the packagings were unqualified,and the number or weight shortage was the main unqualified reason for the import of unqualified food at the port.Through questionnaire survey,we know the food safety awareness of imported food operators and consumers at the port:Imported food business practitioners pay more attention to food safety laws and regulations,policies,standards,food safety information,and deal with unqualified or potential safety hazards.When importing food,reasonable measures can be taken,but insufficient attention is paid to the production of imported Chinese food labels,and nearly half of the operators have only checked the safety of imported foods at the level of "claims" and lacked further exporters to overseas countries.Or the audit of the production enterprise,some imported food operators have not fulfilled the obligation to provide the corresponding inspection and quarantine certificate for imported food;the imported food consumers generally have insufficient attention to relevant food safety laws and regulations,standards,food safety information,food safety The consciousness is weak."Quality and safety" is the main reason for consumers to purchase imported food.The network e-commerce platform is the main channel for consumers to purchase imported food.95.0%of consumers will pay attention to the strength,qualifications and reputation of the operators when purchasing imported food.In view of the safety problems of imported food at the port,the following regulatory measures are proposed:establishing a dynamic import food safety supervision mode,strengthening the registration and filing management to promote the "gateway" advancement,improving the import and export laws,regulations and standards,and strengthening the coordination between the supervisory departments,Increasing the knowledge and publicity of imported food safety laws and regulations,establishing an imported food safety traceability system and import food safety integrity files,the measures above will effectively improve the efficiency of imported food safety inspection and supervision.
