Family business as one of the oldest and most common forms of economic organization in the world.Whether it is a small street couple shop, or a major corporation are existed in family business. Reform and opening up more than 30 years, the domestic family business start from scratch,It's one of the most important part of national economic.After 30 years of booming development, the family business in Southern Jiangsu gradually in a number of industries in the leading position, such as the Clothing Industry,Hodo Group, Sunshine Group, Machinery Manufacturing Industry XX Group, Huaxi Group and so on. To start a project is difficult, but to keep it going is more difficult. Many Southern Jiangsu Family Business are facing a serious successor problem. Different from the traditional Chinese Family Business full of many successors. In order to compete for Family Business control of ruthless struggle fight like situation, with the domestic economic reform and opening up to Chinnese Family planning policy, with the most unique generation of Chinese history people. Because of its unique "421" family structure, the One Child Family is more independent and individual. Because of its double influence, the concept and the idea of the integration of the East and WestSide of the thinking. Therefore, how to train the successor for the development of Southern Jiangsu Family Business has become a worthy to research. A Chinese proverbs also have management curse "Rich family cann't maintain rich for more than three generations".Therefore, the Research on the Southern Jiangsu Family Business Successors is more realistic, and it is also significance to solve the problem. Through the introduction of competency theory, trying to build competency model to explore how to slove the successor problem. This article tries to use the competency model to carry on the effective construction and application research of the successor competence model of the family business.Finally the model of the Southern Jiangsu FamilyBusiness Successor are obtained.This article have six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction, involves the research background, significance, domestics, foreign research present situation level,logical framework, along wirh the possible innovation;The second chapter is the concept, mainly about the definition of concept, theories foundation, competency model building;The third chapter is the current situation analysis, mainly about theof the Southern Jiangsu FamilyBusiness Successor, and finds out some problems About The family business intergenerational inheritance in Southern Jiangsu lack of successors, People lack of capacity, the successor lack of choice of an effective competitive landscape;The fourth chapter is buliding the competency model of the Southern Jiangsu Family Business Successor;The fifth chapter is application analysis about the successor of the XX Group,and give it a forward development program;The sixth chapter is about the authorpoints out the shortcomings of this article and the direction of future endeavors.
