The Study Of The Modernization Level Of Urban Infrastructure In Gansu Province

Modernization of urban infrastructure can not only promote the development of a modern city, but also provide the material basis of the premise and guarantee for urban economic development. To achieve urban modernization and promoting urban economic development, the modernization of urban infrastructure is firstly required. Based on the study of domestic and foreign scholars in the infrastructure and its evaluation system, this paper redefines the study object. Furthermore, taking the meanings and characteristics of the infrastructure and the definition of urban infrastructure modernization into consideration, it summarizes the selecting and processing of domestic scholars in the evaluation index system of the modernization of urban infrastructure. With theoretical analysis and statistics, combining with the actual construction of Gansu province, the author firstly establishes and selects the evaluation index system of the modernization level of the main urban infrastructure in Gansu and finally constructs the evaluation index system of urban infrastructure modernization in Gansu. The indicator system comprises four first-level indicators(the road transport infrastructure, posts and telecommunications infrastructure, urban environmental infrastructure, energy and water infrastructure respectively) and 15 second-level indicators.As to the structure of this paper, there are five chapters in total. The first and second chapters lay the research and theoretical foundation. The third chapter mainly elaborates the principle of index system of urban infrastructure modernization, data sources and evaluation methods. The fourth chapter is the body of this paper. In this chapter, it is divided into three levels. Firstly, with SPSS19.0 statistical software and factor analysis, the author the makes location and analysis of the modernization level of urban infrastructure for the 30 provinces municipalities and autonomous regions(excluding the Tibet Autonomous Region) in our nation. Then the author clusters with K-Means clustering method. At last, this paper divides the stages of modernization of infrastructure in the cities across our country. In the last two sections, this paper empowers the index systems of urban modernized infrastructure in Gansu mainly with the improved entropy. What is more, the author makes comparative analysis to development level and trends of infrastructure at the prefectural-level cities in Gansu from both horizontally and vertically.The last chapter that is the fifth chapter makes the aspects which should be enhanced in Gansu urban infrastructure modernization clear mainly based on the results of the modernization level of urban infrastructure evaluation of Gansu. And from the five perspectives of the establishment of a comprehensive system of road traffic, widening the financial channels of road construction, improving the level of information and the construction of Posts and Telecommunications, strengthening ecological environment construction as well as establishing a safe and efficient water supply facilities and so on, this paper raises strategies for the development of modernization level of infrastructure in major cities in Gansu.
