With the rapid development of China's passenger car market, the consumer has the luxury consumption of passenger cars to the daily changes in consumption, an increasingly competitive auto parts enterprises, mainly for large changes in customer demand, production cycles, order response times short. Auto parts enterprises in the middle and lower reaches of the entire automotive supply chain, inventory management which is one of the important work to reduce business operating costs. Auto parts enterprises to achieve lower inventory costs, optimize inventory levels, improve efficiency purposes, it must be combined with their own business realities find their own inventory management.In this paper, FJS Company (Changchun) as the research object, combined with the characteristics of the automotive supply chain, by FJS Company (Changchun) field research, inventory management company to identify the problems, reasons and problems of systematic analysis, and finally get a reasonable solution. Firstly, introduce supply chain management, inventory management and other related theories, and FJS Company (Changchun) inventory management situation described, the causes were analyzed. Secondly, the paper company for FJS (Changchun) present in inventory management tool in question, designed a system improvement program, respectively, in order to predict link, link production planning, inventory aspects of standard setting improved. For higher raw material inventory, orders improved organizational needs assessment prediction mode, improving corporate demand for raw materials forecasting methods, technical measures to improve the order forecasts, raw material inventory to reduce the number of purposes; for finished goods inventory backlog, the Ministry of Commerce to take to strengthen the logistics department, improve production planning process, the introduction of rolling production plan of measures to reduce finished goods inventory purposes; setting standards for stock unscientific problems and take measures to improve the number of orders, scientific setting safety stock, vendor managed inventory implementation process to make stock control within reasonable limits. Finally, the successful establishment of strategic partnerships with key customers and reinforce employee awareness of inventory management, strengthen supplier inventory management, inventory management company to establish assessment mechanism, improve transportation management company, to improve the company's information management and other measures to improve security program implemented.
