Nowadays there is a number of models and paradigms of motivation and a great deal of the researches analysing different cultures and their features. However, the sphere of organizational cultures and personnel motivation of China and Belarus as well as peculiarities of their interaction still remains insufficiently investigated. To reveal the peculiarities of personnel motivation in organizations from China and Belarus, the present research attempts to study corporate cultures in relation motivation in their organizations on basis of Hofstede cultural typology, Gerchikov’s motivational typology and Herzberg’s two-factor theory.The research findings suggest that Belarusian and Chinese companies have similarities that will help to smooth out cooperation and as a result increase employees’ motivation and the differences that cause misunderstanding and even conflicts that can result in efficiency decrease.Analysis of corporate cultures of Belarus and China with the help of Hofstede cultural diversity typology has showed us that both countries have high power distance. Furthers analysis on the basis of the Gerchikov’s two-factor theory discovered what negative aspects high power distance resulted in the corporate culture in respect to motivation of the analysed companies:high hierarchy, puzzling channels of communication, lack of feedback. High hierarchy influences relations with manager is a hygienic factor that decrease work satisfaction. Puzzling channels of communication and lack of feedback together with rack of responsibility and career are motivating factors that don’t let the motivation to increase. It is seen that similarities mainly include problem areas, common process of dissolving which will unite members of both countries.Differences include collectivistic and masculine nature of Chinese society and more individualistic and feminine nature of the Belarusian one that was discovered with analysis made on the basis of the Hofstede cultural diversity typology. Together with analysis of Belarusian and Chinese companies on the base of the Gerchikov’s motivational typology showed the analysed countries have different motivational types that resulted in differences in stimulation, payment forms, leadership abilities, relations with other employees and expected motivation type behaviour.Thus, to create an optimal corporate motivation system we shall resolve all the similar problems that both countries have and learn how to handle the differences. Accordingly, some suggestions are provided to the organizations:creation of the common corporate culture; delegation; improvement of feedback and communication channels; creation of career growth system; monetary motivation improvement and conflict management.However, the sphere of organizational cultures and personnel motivation of China and Belarus as well as peculiarities of their interaction still remains insufficiently investigated.
