Fixed assets are an important part of enterprise assets, and occupy a considerable proportion. Fixed asset management has always been critical to enterprise asset management, which determines whether the enterprise's production and operation activities can be carried out in a healthy and stable way. Fixed assets need to invest a lot of money in the purchase, and with long-term production use, the value of fixed assets will gradually be transferred to the product, so the level of fixed asset management is also related to the level of enterprise financial management and affect the enterprise's decision of future investment direction. In recent years, enterprises are facing more and more fierce market competition, many enterprises continue to expand the scale of production, open branch plants, and purchase a lot of fixed assets needed for production, which cause the increase of management difficulty day by day. How to effectively manage the fixed assets and turn into a conservation oriented enterprise, has also become the difficult problem for the society, especially the capital intensive manufacturing industry.Fixed assets are of high value, use areas dispersion and can be used for a long time (usually more than one year), a lot of wear and tear will be produced during the use, over purchase will cause more and more idle assets and produce a huge waste, plus assets upgrade, maintenance, repair and retrofit due to technical impact, which have brought great difficulties and challenges to the management of fixed assets. A lot of companies do not have complete fixed asset management system and lack of strict time constraints and management regulations for the increase, allocation, daily inventory audit and later stage scrap, which caused cumbersome process, time consuming, lagging and repeated accounting, the slow circulation of documents, leakage accounts and other account discrepancy issues. Besides, the companies don't pay much attention to the fixed asset management, messy internal management, loose cooperation between asset departments, high employee turnover rate and confused handover procedures, more and more difficulties and challenges have been brought about to the management of fixed assets. At present, many problems are exposed in the management of fixed assets for many enterprises, and they seriously hindered the improvement of enterprise operation efficiency, so improving the efficiency of enterprise fixed assets management and the utility of fixed assets are very significant to reduce enterprise operating costs and to enhance the enterprise's market competitiveness.This thesis is based on current management process of F Corporation, including investment budget in the early stage, equipment purchase, maintenance and scrap. Through the analysis of existing process shortage, redesign each activity of management process by applying Business Process Reengineering theory and aimed at overall process optimization, try to cut down useless or non value-creating activities, and achieve value maximization in every link, which will reduce the vacancy rate of fixed assets, cut the cost and increase profits. This thesis has studied systematically on the process reengineering of management organization, budget, system, audit, scrap and so on. Hope this thesis will draw further attention of experts and scholars from related fields as well as the high level of enterprises to the existing problems of fixed asset management, and provide certain help and reference for solving similar problems in fixed asset management of enterprises.
