With the development of globalization and the promotion of market competitive intensity,whether the company can translate R&D spending into a timely and efficient product,is depending on the ability of independent R&D and operation.PLM,the abbreviation of Product Lifecycle Management,is based on product whole life cycle management as the core,combined with the network management for the R&D management system.PLM can effectively improve the efficiency and competitiveness in product management,especially in product R&D management.IPD,the abbreviation of Intergrated Product Development,is a management thought,or mode and method.IPD is a project management process from project generation to Whole process management,supporting the R&D of new products and promoting the long-term development of company.The combination of IPD process management and PLM system management,can provide an integrated solution from process integration to system landing.It is more suitable for the import and integration of the company.Besides,it can provide strong support for the development of R&D business management ability.This thesis is to establish an adaptive and expandable R&D project management system,which is a case study of a large manufacturing company in China,based on IPD and PLM.This thesis firstly studies the background of the topic and points out the purpose and significance of the research.Current domestic and international research status analysis of IPD and PLM provides a reference for the development of this topic.Secondly,this thesis elaborates on the IPD process framework,the theoretical framework,evolution path and functions of the PLM system,and guides the actual design with the theoretical basis.Then this thesis analyzes the development requirements of the system itself,business processes,and master data of the PLM system of MD Company,and serves as an important input for the overall system design and detailed design of the later system.The overall architecture of the PLM system adopts the Windchill+RDM model to implement the development of the PLM system.The system IT architecture adopts the system access hierarchical control information centralized storage design.At the same time,design tools integrated design to achieve online design function.According to the design of the overall program framework,the reconstruction of the predecessor business process of the two system developments and the collation and migration of the system master data are completed first before the detailed development of the system.Based on the overall design framework of the system,the sub-modules of the PLM are designed in detail and the final system is implemented.The final system test ensures that the system is finally stable on-line.The application of the results of this thesis has promoted the improvement of R&D management capabilities,efficiency,and innovation capabilities of the company,which is conducive to the standardization and precipitation of research and development work of the company,and provides strong support for the long-term operation of the company.
