Research On The Volunteer Management Of The Independent College Library

The origin of modern volunteers originated in some developed countries and regions of Europe and America.After years of vigorous development,volunteers are active in all aspects of the international community.Volunteers active in community development and resettlement,disaster relief and prevention and cure,humanitarian,and civil affairs,engineering,environmental protection,HIV/AIDS,health care,human rights,poverty assistance.The United Nations set up the UN volunteer organization,which aims to build a global volunteer organization that contributes to peace and development through the spirit of volunteerism.Foreign volunteers development situation is favourable,but the volunteer legislation and institutions in our country is slightly fall behind.In June 2017,the State Council approved the first regulation on volunteer service,the volunteer services ordinance,indicates that the development of volunteers in our country gradually on the right track.The development of volunteers in colleges and universities is very rapid,and basically every university has student association such as youth volunteer association.The participants of college volunteers normally are students of the university campus,and the student groups have their own characteristics: positive,optimistic and willing to contribute,which is very beneficial for the development of volunteers.In the continuous development of volunteers,volunteers also gradually participated in the daily management and service of the library.This paper selects a special type of colleges in our country,the independent college.as a sample of the independent college library in zhuhai,the paper analyzes the status quo of volunteer management in the library of independent college by means of field visits,telephone interviews and questionnaires.Finds out the problems and causes of the library volunteer management,and gives corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to solve these problems according to the specific reasons of the analysis.Finally,a research summary is made for the volunteer management of the library of independent colleges.
