The Game elements such as points,badges and leaderboards are being adopted for the learning experience for motivating and influencing user engagement behavior.The strong reasons for adopting a Gamified Web-based training method are supported by several organizations due to the way it responds to the needs of organizational goals which are engaging learners while having fun.Public legal education comprises of a range of activities intended to build public awareness and skills related to laws and the legal system.The Supreme Court of Rwanda has shown the great importance of using ICT for legal training.In addition,more information,data,and resources have been developed and improved to demonstrate greater value to all legal practitioners.It was discovered that gamification can facilitate better training and development processes,the productivity of employees can be enhanced and distribution of data and knowledge can be fostered.In this thesis,we investigate the area of utilizing games for training purpose and propose a Web platform with game elements for training use.Furthermore,we developed a Gamified Web application system for court training which contains key features of the proposed application.We believe that the proposed application may contribute for influencing legal education and engaging the public in learning how courts work.The system will be more engaging and enjoyable for learners,and as a result,it will help them achieve their true learning potential.It could provide several benefits for Supreme Court of Rwanda especially for law students,legal practitioners,and citizens as well,allowing them to translate their knowledge into tangible game artifacts to customize their curricula tailored to their strengths.
