Books tend to be diversified under an era when the development of cultural industry are getting more and more attention and the publishing industry is generating more innovations.Calendar book,for its innovation,aesthetics,practicability and cultural features,has become a typical book in the publishing industry.Thus this paper takes publishing phenomenon of the calendar book as a typical case in the development of the publishing industry.By analyzing the current detailed situation,it indicates the reasons for the phenomenon and reveals the versified development trend of books under the guidance of cultural product concepts.As the typical case in publishing industry,publishing phenomenon of the calendar books brings new concepts for innovative development of other books,i.e.diversified books of innovation,aesthetics,practicality and cultural features could be built via creative editing and planning in book form,content,content presentation and design.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter analyzes the current researches on the publishing phenomenon of calendar books,pointing out the difficulties in equalizing academic studies and industrial attention and proposing to study on the diversified development of books via the publishing phenomenon of calendar books.The second chapter analyzes the publishing of calendar books,defines related concepts,summarizes its development,and analyzes the detailed situation of calendar book publishing from the subjects,aesthetics,publishers,publishing time and price,summarizing that calendar books have features of innovation,aesthetics,practicality and cultural diversity.The third chapter analyzes the reasons of forming this phenomenon and proposes it is formed from multiple aspects,including background,industrial tendency,publisher and audiences.The fourth chapter showcases the innovative points in the publishing phenomenon of calendar books,explains the diversified development trend of books under cultural product concepts and puts forward suggestions for publishing calendar books in the future.As the typical case in publishing industry,publishing phenomenon of the calendar books brings new concepts for innovative development of other books,i.e.diversified books of innovation,aesthetics,practicality and cultural features could be built via creative editing and planning in book form,content,content presentation and design.
