Since the publication of “reading on TV: interview record of reading time”by CCTV in 1999,the phenomenon of publishing books on cultural TV programs in China has continued to ferment.On the basis of TV programs,cultural TV program books make use of the unique expression charm of language and characters,deeply excavate the connotation of programs,and carry out secondary creation.First of all,cultural TV programs have accumulated high popularity with the help of TV media,and the fan effect has helped them make the best-selling list of books.Secondly,as the mouthpiece of the party and the government,China's TV media has a strong communication and cultural influence,influencing people's way of thinking and daily life imperceptibly.Cultural TV program books,as the product of the complementary formation of the two fusion media of books and television,have gradually become the hot spot of China's publishing industry,and are highly sought after by publishing houses and loved by readers.To a certain extent,its emergence enriches the types of China's book market,and at the same time,it also injects fresh vitality into the book market.The interaction between cultural TV programs and books has an impact on both sides.From the point of view of book publishing,transforming the content of TV programs into books is conducive to improving the content of programs.From the perspective of TV media,TV programs expand the scope of influence of books,effectively promote the sales of books,and change the way of publicity and marketing of books.This paper analyzes the publishing phenomenon of cultural TV program books from three perspectives: Cultural TV program,readers and book publishing industry.In addition to the introduction,the paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter,according to the time sequence of development to sort out the status of cultural TV program books,summarize the development process of the publishing phenomenon.The second chapter summarizes the categories of cultural TV program books.By roughly dividing the cultural TV program books into four categories: Ideological and cultural category,language and literature category,folk culture category and cultural heritage category,it summarizes the characteristics of the content and form of cultural TV program books,and vividly depicts the overall face of China's cultural TV program books.In the third chapter,under the background of exploring its constantly changing times,from the theory of consumerism and the theory of “fan economy”,it focuses on the reasons why it appears and becomes more and more popular.Chapter four explores the significance and influence of this publishing phenomenon on both the book publishing industry and the TV media.In the fifth chapter,the author makes a cold thinking on the phenomenon of publishing books of cultural TV programs,reveals various problems in the development process,and puts forward some corresponding development countermeasures on this basis.
