Research On The Construction And Presentation Of The Image Of "Jun Sao" In People Daily

This paper studies the construction and presentation of “Jun Sao” images in the reports of People Daily from 1992 to 2016.With the guidance of Marxist theory and the perspectives of communication,politics,military science,culture and so on,this paper mainly uses methods of text analysis,quantitative statistics and historical reflection to explore the historical background?stage of experience?presentation way and type of display,etc.of “Jun Sao” images.On the above process,dating from the reflection of the historical fate of “Jun Sao”,the paper further puts forward some improved reference tactics by means of building a three-dimensional “Jun Sao”images and for the purpose of promoting our soft power.The military's wife was originally shown as a part of the “The family of the soldiers”.Using the call of “Jun Sao” to name this group in People Daily for the first time was on July 28 th,1992(Bao'an's skyscraper),which deepened the existence of this group in humans' hearts.Its background lied in Comrade Deng Xiaoping's“Southern Tour” in 1992,the “The UN Fourth World Conference on Women” held in China in 1995 and our participation in WTO in 2001.Moreover,the far-reaching is the change of people's minds,that is,diverse thinking,strengthening of gender equality and pervasive humanistic thought.Until 2016,the construction and presentation of “Jun Sao” images in People Daily can be divided into three periods: in 1992-1994(the budding period featuring in typical report),“Jun Sao” group was separately drawn from the “military” and then became a certain degree of independence;in 1995-2003(the development period),the number of reports and the length about “Jun Sao” increased a lot but these reports tended to be homogeneity definitely;in 2003-2016(the multi-period),reports about“Jun Sao” images became more diverse.The paper uses agenda set and communication skills when studying the construction and presentation of “Jun Sao” images in People Daily,including control of the number of reports,the arrangement of layouts,the selection of manuscript source,the adjustment of the proportion of pictures and texts,the choice of narrative techniques,the coordination of the genre and the subject matter and so on,which have played a better communication effect.From the final effect,four “Jun Sao” images have mainly been presented in People Daily: military,sister in law,home pillars and women.Historically,women's fate was presented in four types from the perspective of war: humiliated and unable to resist;Jun Sao;rising in the war;violent women.In new era,women should abandon a single female identity and establish a type of three-dimensional rich female image.Based on the above research,the author makes some Suggestions on the construction of the image of “Jun Sao”: to reduce pan-politicalization,to increase humanistic care;and to add the length and quantities of reports.In this way,the “Jun Sao” images may be more three-dimensional and more widely spread,which can be more conducive to constructing national defense and upgrade national soft power at the country level.
