The technique of the Full-Life Cycle Automatic Animation Generation was put forward by Lu Ruqian who is an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences in the nineties of last century.It is a product which combined with artificial intelligence technology,computer graphics and the art of film making.The goal is to achieve an animation which is matched some restricted Chinese story,through a series of computer processing.With the rapid development of communication technology,Zhang Songmao,a researcher of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,proposed to apply this technology to SMS,and led the research group members to design and realize the automatic generation system of mobile 3D animation in 2008.Its aim is to generate a 3D animation which is based on SMS,send the animation URL and the context of the message to the recipient.This system consists of four parts: information extraction,qualitative planning,quantitative calculation and rendering.The lighting effect is directly related to the success or failure of the work in film television,animation,or art works,whether it is the role,the scene or props need a reasonable lighting design.In film or animation,the language of light has two forms: direct presentation language and suggestive language.Direct presentation language refers to the real form of the subject is reproduced by the light,the meaning of screen is directly expressed by the subject;Suggestive language belongs to a light atmosphere.it is through the light effect to create a representation of the meaning.The 3D animation automatic generation system uses default scene lights in previous versions,which only illuminate the entire scene.The goal of this paper is to generate the light automatically according to the content of SMS,so that the generated lighting effect can not only express the time in the message,but also indirectly express the emotions of the characters.The main work of this paper includes:Firstly,design and implementation of the automatic generation light,including qualitative planning and quantitative calculation.Qualitative planning is based on the content of SMS,according to topics and template by information extracted,relying on the light knowledge base.Quantitative calculations are specific implementations of qualitative planning.Mainly include: the light position calculation in 3D scene,the calculation of lighting brightness and color,Maya rendering algorithm.Among them,the calculation of the lighting position requires different calculation methods for different scene types,the calculation of brightness and color needs to set different intervals in Maya.Secondly,build the light ontology library and the light rule base.The whole process of light automatically generation is based on the knowledge base,and this paper designs the light knowledge base,including light ontology library and light rule base.The construction of light ontology library includes establishment of light type class,light color class,light brightness class,light layout class and instances of various types,and it's realized by the ontology description language OWL DL.The construction of light rule base is to associate the topic or template with light layout,light type,light color tone and so on.It's realized by the semantic network rules language SWRL.In order to verify the effect of automatic lighting generation,this paper designed the illumination feasibility experiment,the illumination diversity experiment and the animation ornamental experiment for open SMS.The test data have 1236 SMS which was tested from March 1,2016 to February 19,2017.In the illumination feasibility experiment,light can be added normally in every animations.In the illumination diversity experiment,we take 30 of SMS,each SMS measured 60 times,get the same message has 5 or more lighting planning results accounted for 68.33%;In the animation ornamental experiment,the average score is 6.8 point which directly express the time in SMS by lighting effect,the average score is 4.6 point which indirect express character mood in SMS by lighting effect.This paper is first proposed the automatic generation of light in 3D animation automatic system,so that the adding light effects not only directly express the time in SMS,but also can indirect express the mood of the characters.
