With the development of digital television systems,the digital devices have made a rapid development and will gradually replace the analog devices,such as digital-analog converter?digital signal processing and transmitting etc.However,with the different process of video signal and audio signal,it will generate the variable delay when the signal through these equipments.Therefore,these equipments usually produce disharmony between picture and sound.In order to attain the harmony,it is better to adopt the audio imbedded technology.In this paper,it realize a digital audio imbedded into digital video design of reaching ASIC based on FPGA.Applying FPGA on Quartus II~?6.0,it will realize a video frequency to follow to identify,the audio signal buffer imbedded etc.In view of the above implementation,the design of the modules is designed based on the top-down design ideas,in order to optimize the system structure,reduce the processing delay,the operation and hardware resources consumption is distributed to each module.Aim at a different factory of IC and the weakness for compatibility,we propose a function of automatic detection in audio signal module,it will solve the incompatibility problem.According to introduce the identify modules,the ASIC can make reaction quickly based on handover of video signal,it can identify the standard of video signal quickly and accurately imbedded.For the characteristics of FPGA's reconfigurable computing,the new method which permits I~2S audio interface to connect can expand the ASIC application.To get enough breadth of audio signal,the module is used a special processing to postpone to the audio signal,acquired good audio signal quality.As the newest solution for video and audio transmitting,it is applied in multiple realms extensively,such as digital television and broadcasting station,etc.Compared with traditional ways,the audio embedded percept will fully embodies the real time and flexibility of FPGA.Since design period of ASIC that based on FPGA is short,and the functional modules can be cut freely,then,the cost can be declined consumedly and the design period can be shorten.It will bring aggressive meaning to the broadcasting business development.
