The rapid development of dynamic testing technology makes the high speed data storage become more and more important.High wideband and large capacity are required,and to meet this requirements FLASH array technology is always adopted.However,there are a series of defects in NAND FLASH,such as bad block management,code verification,Complex Erase equilibrium etc.All of these increase the development cost of the system,making the efficiency of the project development and upgrading of the system difficult.These defects are solved through the eMMC technology,due to its unique advantages,such as fast speed,simple design,easy to upgrade and manage etc.In order to solve the above problems of traditional memory,combined with the advantages of eMMC,a design of high speed memory used new storage medium of eMMC is proposed in this article.First of all,the eMMC 5.0 specification is summarized.And the design scheme is proposed according to the system requirement.FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array)are used as the main controller of the memory.It is divided into SFP optical fiber interface module,DDR3 high speed buffer module and Gigabit network module which can communicate with host computer according to the function.Then the realization of eMMC array controller is introduced in the part of system logic design.Through the design of initialization unit,transmission control unit,command interface unit and array synchronous logic unit of eMMC array,The data storage of eMMC array in HS400 mode is realized.And there are also other modules of the system designed to complete the storage function of the whole data recorder.Finally,the hardware test platform is built on the basis of the design scheme,used the ChipScope,IBERT and so on as test tool.And the eMMC controller is mainly debugged.Thelogic of the SFP optical fiber interface module and the DDR3 high speed buffer module is verified.The results show that the high speed solid-state storage using eMMC new storage medium designed in this paper can achieve 156MB/s storage bandwidth.And it can meet the design requirements with the characteristics of large capacity,portable and easy to upgrade.This research and design of high-speed data memory based on eMMC array can lay a foundation for the application of dynamic test field.
