With the development of modern wireless communication technology,the use of WIFI is becoming more and more extensive.Because of the work frequency of WIFI is high,when the WIFI wireless transmission technology is applied to the larger scene,such as airports,maritime communication,the disadvantages of WIFI wireless signal power consumption,penetration ability and diffraction ability are especially prominent.Therefore,this paper has studied and designed a frequency conversion module,which can reduce the frequency of WIFI communication.Firstly,in this paper,we have studied and analyzed the existing WIFI frequency conversion communication technology and its application.WIFI frequency conversion communication technology combines the advantages of wide range of WIFI application and easy access,and overcome the disadvantages of some physical transmission characteristics of WIFI signals.WIFI frequency conversion communication technology is widely used in China and abroad.For example,the university of Cambridge in the United Kingdom USES the white space between TV channels to build super WIFI,GuGe to take the "super WiFi" frequency band,and the us to promote the development of super WIFI.Secondly,this paper analyzes and studies several existing WIFI frequency conversion communication technologies and the advantages and disadvantages of these technologies.On the basis of this,a new type of external WIFI frequency conversion module is designed,which realizes the frequency conversion of WIFI signal by means of direct moving spectrum.This kind of external conversion module is more portable and expansible.This design uses only a mixer realized WIFI bi-directional frequency communication,theoretically support the 2.4 GHz frequency band WIFI frequency communication,the frequency of the output signal can be programmatically set arbitrary within a certain scope,which can support WIFI 802.11 n/g/b communication protocol.Thirdly,We simulated and tested the WIFI frequency conversion module and analyzed the test results.The actual performance parameters of this module are shown as follows:the range of WIFI signal frequency range is the entire 2.4G frequency band of WIFI;The frequency range of the output signal is 0-1880MHz;The insertion loss of the module in the 2.4ghz band is-1.5dB?1dB,the EVM test is less than-28 dB@27dBm,which can be communicated normally under the 802.11n/g/b protocol.All the above parameters have reached the theoretical design indexes,which can meet the application requirements of the actual project.Forth,In this paper,the work is summarized,the whole subject for this topic research content,WIFI frequency conversion module design and implementation,module of the test results analysis has carried on the summary,and the content of the research for the next step in the frequency conversion module and work is prospected.
