Rain Classroom is an intelligent teaching tool jointly developed by XuetangX and Online Education Office of Tsinghua University,which aims to completely enhance the classroom teaching experience,giving more interactions between teachers and students by a more convenient teaching method.Certain functions have been praised widely by learners including its synchronous slides,feedbacks of learners' unintelligible knowledge,mobile coursewares,class exercises and interactions of bullet comments,etc.By the beginning of 2018,150,000 teachers from nearly 8,000 schools had joined in Rain Classroom from all over the world,changing learning life of 2.8 million students.New education teaching concepts,teaching modes and teaching means are influencing and impacting the classroom teaching in universities,hence the classroom teaching of universities should also make a revolution adapting to the situation.While on one hand,the source of the classroom teaching revolution depends on whether existing problems of that in current universities can be deeply found,on the other hand,it also lies on whether effective strategies can be put forward to solve problems with organic combination of latest education teaching concepts and classroom teaching in universities.In order to solve the problem of students' low participation level in a course named Foundation Of Television Programming in universities,the author introduces Rain Classroom into this course,besides,with the guidances of modern education and teaching theory,the classroom teaching activities based on intelligent teaching tools of Rain Classroom are established in accordance with its functional characteristics and content features.Divided into three parts of Before-Class,In-Class and After-Class,the teaching activity fully takes advantage of Rain Classroom's data driving and real-time interaction,advocating the teaching philosophy of Leading Role-Main Body.The author gives the teaching design projects based on intelligent teaching tools of Rain Classroom by designing teaching activities,develops Rain Classroom coursewares and furtherly research the practical utilization.In procedures of practices,it is advised to find questions,summarize questions,amend activity designs and projects of instructional designs,which is beneficial for practical teaching in a better way.In the research process,the methods of Class Observation and Class Interview are used to make judgements of teaching achievements in Rain Classroom.Practice results demonstrate that teaching forms of Rain Classroom can refine existing issues of students' participation level to some extent in this course.The teaching forms of Rain Classroom are supported by most of students in this course,and they view that it is able to make learning more convenient with an easier communication method between teachers and students together with a more interesting course.At the end of this thesis,the author summarizes existing issues and suggestions of designing Rain Classroom plans and its utilizing process in accordance with practical teaching experience of Rain Classroom.It is expected to provide further references for subsequent researchers and it is also believed that the application of Rain Classroom would certainly be better with the environmental perfection of softwares and hardwares,the promotion of teachers' IT ability,the synchronization of related theories and the complements of teaching resources.
