The Case Of Shen Chong From The Perspective Of Media,Politics And Public Sympathy

On December 24,1946,Beijing university's female student Shen Chong was raped by the American soldier in China,which is a special case in the history of Chinese revolution.Shortly after the incident,massive student protests began across the country,culminating in the collapse of the U.S.military and the collapse of the Kuomintang of China(KMT).During the whole process,the media's participation plays an important role.The main topic of this research is the case of Shen Chong in 1946.Through comparison among the Chinese Communist media,the KMT'media and the private media' s study about this event,in-depth analysis of the power control the political attitudes and political purpose behind the news reports,trying to explore the communist party is step by step through what media methods to detonate public sympathy,which about the case and triggered by the "second front",and finally in the with the KMT's victory in the political game.According to the process of the occurrence and evolution of the case,the thesis can be divided into three parts:introduction,subject and conclusion.The first part is the introduction.This part of chapter mainly elaborates the source,purpose and significance of the article,as well as relevant research review and research methods.Chapter one to chapter four is the main body part.The first chapter mainly elaborates the occurrence of the case of Shen Chong,which is adopts the method of historical description from the macroscopic point of view.Mainly through the relevant news coverage in the newspaper at that time,supplemented by archival material and the memoirs of the author,to restore the case of Shen Chong in a historical context.In chapter two,through text analysis,the communist party has reported on the case after the case of Shen Chong.Selecting the KMT-controlled area of XinHua Daily and liberated areas JieFang Daily as investigation object,respectively in the two newspapers reports of the case of Shen Chong reports from quantity,report form,style,layout,the specific content of five aspects of journalism Angle.This part aims to show the case of Shen Chong in the "construction" of the communist party media.The third chapter is to study the report of the KMT's news media about the case of Shen Chong.And selecting the central journal as the object of investigation.This paper makes a statistical analysis of the manuscript of the case of Shen Chong.And carring out the research of journalism from five aspects:number of reports,form of report,style of report,arrangement of layout and specific content.This part aims to show the case of Shen Chong in the "construction" of the KMT's media.The fourth chapter continues to use the text analysis method,to present the folk voice about the case of Shen Chong.This part focuses on the attitudes and opinions of the intellectuals in the Chinese social elite at that time.Through analyzing the content of the relevant public comments,exploring the group when evaluating the case of Shen Chong.And desiring for social stability and the fear of the public mood of ambivalence which is different from the party newspaper.This part is intended to reflect the voice of the people.The last part is conclusion,mainly depending on the historical facts and historical data,will gradually evolve into the case of Shen Chong to show the process of national political agitation,explain the case of Shen Chong as an important power of accelerating the KMT'regime collapses special connotation.And further analyze the underlying causes of the change.The role of media in the development of the case of Shen Chong is analyzed in depth.Based on the consideration of the previous analysis and summary,inquiry as news events,politics and emotion based on triple Shen Chong under "status" in the case of the connection between each other,trying to reveal the media,politics and public sympathy the delicate relationship interaction.At the same time,discuss the problems after the case of Shen Chong.Taking the fate and fate of the litigant as the clue.And exploring how to turn from the pursuit of fairness and justice to patriotism.
